In this article let's go through the Shipping Comparison dashboard together and have a better understanding of what insights you can get out of it. 

 

To open the dashboard, follow the steps below.

This dashboard allows you to compare outbound and inbound volumes of carriers, shipping options, delivery types, and countries over time.

Main Menu

Select the variables you want to include (or exclude) in the charts and tables.

Inbound Shipments/Outbound Shipments

You can check the inbound(return) shipments or outbound shipments by simply switching the button below. 

Update Notification

 

All/YTD

Year to date (YTD) represents a period of time between the beginning of the selected year(s) and the current date (month/day).

Manual & FAQ page

Go to the manual (information icon) and FAQ page (question icon) by clicking on the icons on the right top of the dashboard.

Chart – Shipments Over Time Stacked By Carriers

Offers a volume comparison between different carriers over years, quarters, months, weeks, and days.

Here you can easily track the monthly contribution percentage of different carriers and the total volumes of all carriers as well.

 

Click on the plus/minus buttons to drill down/drill up time levels.

 

Hover over the bar to see the total number of shipments and the proportion of a certain carrier.

Chart – Shipments Per Carrier Over Time

Offers a breakdown of volume per carrier over years, quarters, months, weeks, and days.

Here you can clearly see the volume ranking of carriers and a single carrier's volume over time.

 

Click on the plus/minus buttons to drill down/drill up time levels.

 

Hover over the bar to see the total number of shipments. 

 

Click on the sorting button (high>low/low>high) to change the order.

Each table presents a ranking for the variables selected in the main menu. 

You can directly see which carrier/shipping option shipped the most shipments and to which countries the shipments went.
